History of the Moreton Bay Road Runners

The Moreton Bay Road Runners Club is a group of men and women of all ages who are dedicated to running - both serious runners and social runners/walkers.

Our club was formed in 1985 so people who enjoyed running could run together as a group and take advantage of the benefits of running in a disciplined environment and at the same time get involved in social activities – we are basically a group of serious social runners. Today our club has a membership of 60 plus and we have 4 organised runs each week

- Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.30 PM from a members home and
- Saturday and Sunday morning from the Redcliffe Jetty.

In the summer the morning runs start at 5.30 AM and 6.00 AM in the winter.

The Moreton Bay Road Runners caters for runners of every standard, irrespective of their fitness level. There will always be someone to run with and we also have an enthusiast group of walkers. If you would like to know more talk to one of our Office Bearers who will be able to answer all your questions.
